Hey guys, sorry for the lack of updates but ive been a bit busy with work and stuff. The old excuse i know but its the truth! Its been a busy week with parents evening and all the assessment i have to do on the kids and im so glad it is now over with. Ive been a bit of a bad Livejournaller in general really im afraid. Got about a weeks worth of friend posts to read and comment on so expect a could of domments from me in the near future :)

Parents evening went ok except for one parent who thretened to take her child out of school. It was all becasue i hadent given this child Star of the Week yet which is pretty annoying as shes not the only child in the class not to get it but there you go. I was told afterwards that she threatens this with all the teachers so im not too concerned but it certainly put a dampner on the night i can tell you!

The weekend was pretty busy for a change. I went to my great Aunt and Uncles 50th Wedding Aniversary party on Saturday which was actually pretty good. We had the usual drunk family antics but it was a laugh. The speech my uncle gave was actually really touching and really gave me hope when it comes to people staying together and stuff especially since my mum and dad recently split up.

Spent Sunday shopping in the Trafford centre, looking at all the expensive things i cant have! Bought a few DVD's and some cloths but nothing exciting. Had a really nice Thai meal though at a resturant which was really tasty!

Other than that things are pretty much back to normal now so ill try to update a bit more often from now one. Hope everyones well and talk to you all soon,

Well, looks like my holiday is practically over. Why is it weeks at work crawl by but when you have a week off its over almost before its begun! Ive not even done half the stuff i actually wanted to do either which is just plain disappointing.

I wanted to go visit a few old friends and due to circumstances beyond my control (their dog fell downt he stairs and broke his leg) that never happened. I suppose i shouldnt be annoyed as its not like the dog did it deliberatly but i just wanted to see them and becasue of that i couldnt and i know i wont get the chance again to see them now unitl Easter! Oh well, at least the dogs ok now and im sure ill see them soon.

Also, i was planning on spending the week trying to get back into writing properly but again that never happened. It  was more due to my own laziness though so only got nyself to blame for that one. I did do a bit though so at least theres that and for once i didnt think what i had written sucked so bonus points there :)

One the other hand i did have a good day yesterday. Went out for a meal which is something i havent done in a while and went the cinema after which was nice. Saw "Push" which was ok actually. I wasnt convinced at first but the story was actually not bad and if nothing else Chris Evans looked really hot so cant complain. It was a bit too long though and parts were a lot more drawn out than they needed to be but not a bad film over all.

Alos got to see my puppy again last weekend which was nice. Less than 6 weeks to go now until she comes home which is beyond awesome. Im so looking forward to getting her home. Went a bit mad and brought a load of stuff from the pet shop which was probably a bit premature but nevermind. Ill post some photoes of her under the cut if your interested.

Oh, well better get ready for going back to work tomorrow now. Feel a bit guilty as ive done hardly any work over the holiday! Havent even planned for the lessons next week yet which is bad even for me. I have stumbled on a site that literally does your planning for you though so i will be making good use of that tonigth i can tell you. I know one of the other teachers at my school uses it so that makes me feel better about using it. Normally im really good at planning and stuff but just havent had the enthusiasm this week. Oh well, it just measn ill be busyer than normal next week so no change there then! Ive got parents evening coming up on thursday which im dreding but ill talk more about that after the event.

Reading that back it makes me sound like a really bad teacher but im not honest! Just a momentary blib i asure you lol. Ill be more orgainised next week... i hope.

Well looks like im back on livejournal again.

Ive been a member of this site on and off for well over a year now but due to the fact that i lost my computer about 6 months ago, my old journal was sadly neglected. I finally got a new computer and came back online to find most of my friends i'd made on here had either forgotten me or left the site so i thought, time for a fresh start.

I'll put a bit more about myself here, flesh myself out so to speak. My names Andy, Im 25, almsot 26, and i'm a primary school teacher for my sins! Love the teaching but not so fond of all the paper work, assessment and stress that goes with it!  I've only been teaching properly since September but have made some great friends and have a lovely class of kids who don't play up too often.

I still live at home with my mum and younger brother which isnt an ideal situation but it works for now. I'm looking hopefully to move out in the summer once ive found out if my job has been made perminant or not but who knows where i'll be then. Life changes so quickly i've learned not to plan too far ahead!

My interests are pretty varied. I like pretty much any kind of music but Linkin Park has to be my favourite ever band. My TV tastes are pretty much anything action orientated and if it has some sort of supernatural/ horror/ sci-fi element then normally im hooked! Not averse to abit of drama though and do have a weakness for One Tree Hill, my guilty pleaseure lol. I'm a massive Supernatural fan at the moment but that might be more for the hot lead actors, Jared Padalecki is pretty much my ideal man! The storylines are pretty good too though.

Right, ive bored you enough for one night and am in major need of sleep.
